One Client One Problem

The goal of this article is to share a small case study of how in2vate collaborates with our clients help solve their problems with our Enterprise Risk Management technology: The client was a mid-size property and casualty self-insured group. The problem was making claims data easily available for their members and the risk control team members. Access to this data allows for easy data mining, data analytics, and improved risk assessments. While there was a RIMS system that the claims team used, it did not mean the data easily flowed outside of the claims department. The client had been struggling for years trying to solve this data flow problem.

The in2vate team worked with the client and in less than 45 days created a structure that had claims data available for the loss control team and each member of the group. Data access, data evaluation, and data analysis are all vital for making informed decisions and in2vate implemented our enterprise risk management solutions to provide easy access to important data for all stakeholders to mitigate risk.

The most satisfying aspect was that there was an immediate pivot for the client. They had been developing a strategy to spend the next year to address a one-off risk that had occurred. When they reviewed the claims data that our enterprise risk management technology provided, it was clear that there was a concentration of risk in a single division. They pivoted strategies to split their resources to add the resources to assist the division that the data analysis identified as having the risk concentration.
