in2vate

Our Story

in2vate began in 1995 by providing employers with an anonymous whistleblower hotline called the Employee Protection Line®. Soon after, we developed comprehensive risk management services for employers, including risk management workbooks, online employment practices liability training for employees, workplace policies and procedures, and employee handbooks. in2vate specialized in hostile work environment issues, harassment training, and operational risk management.

The Beginnings

We continue to provide these same services which were a cornerstone of business back in 1995. Today in2vate is a risk management company specializing in education, technology, data collection, and consulting. We work with all aspects of the insurance industry including pools, carriers, excess carriers, joint power authorities, self-insured groups, brokers, agents, and individual organizations all with our mission to deliver programs and services to organizations so they can manage risk and better lives.

We have served more than two million users extending over 15,000 distinct organizations, delivering programs and services to workplaces, educational institutions, houses of worship, and other diverse organizations.

The Future: Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence

Looking to the future, in2vate partnered with iLearningEngines (iLE) in 2021. iLE is a market leader in combining AI algorithms with highly specialized data sets to diagnose or predict deficiencies in knowledge and deliver in-process learning prescriptions to each individual at scale. iLE and in2vate have worked closely together supporting mission critical risk management initiatives in multiple large enterprises. In 2022, iLE acquired in2vate.

Roger Duffield

President, CPCU, ARM

I have been involved in the insurance business for more than 35 years. I have always enjoyed the streamlining process with an eye on reducing claims. I attended a small high school of less than 250 students and have been married to a hometown girl for nearly 35 years – we still live in the same town.  

Robbie Edwards

Operations Manager

Working with in2vate since 2014 he is responsible for various departments’ oversight, product development, and client management. Robbie is an appreciator of arts and graphic design, serving for nine years on the Art Directors Club of Tulsa board in various roles from Membership Director to President and now serves as a continuing member.

Traci Maxey

Director of Client and Support Services

Traci began her career with in2vate in 1997. Traci is an avid Oklahoma Sooner sports fan, with a passion for college softball, having served as Board Treasurer of a recreational softball association for 10 years. 

Nick Duffield

Enterprise Sales and Strategic Partnerships

Nick is currently pursuing his Associates in Risk Management. When he isn’t helping bring solutions to his clients, he enjoys coaching and playing sports (golf, basketball, softball, or volleyball), gardening, reading, and spending time outdoors with his family. 

Monica Maliga

Senior Customer and Administrative Support

An alumna of North Carolina State University, Monica has worked in the law enforcement community, youth programs, sales, and various administrative positions throughout the mid-west and east coast. When not in her Sales or Support roles with in2vate, she can be found volunteering with at-risk youth, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. 

Danny Humes

Customer Success and Administrative Support

Danny graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in History. He is a huge sports fan and enjoys spending his free time either playing or watching sports. 

Dave Epstein

Content Manager & Instructional Designer

Dave has his doctorate in education and a fifteen-year career in public schools as an educator, leader, and curriculum, instruction, and assessment designer. When he isn’t developing content and training for in2vate, he enjoys playing with his 3 small dogs and is an active martial artist with two black belts.
